The Cord could be a bit of an issue, i could try to use pvc to decretely take it to the outlet. It comes with little legs with glue on the bottom so...

I have the 24" aquatic life and its great. There is no independent bulb switches though its either on or off.

I agree that shorter tanks are nice, but you do have to consider the massive evaporation you may get.
I like the idea of getting a black clown. I have also heard whatchman goby's are cool (especially with the pistol shrimp).
