so over the last two weeks i kinda just went for it, I water tested my reseal job and it held water but i had no peace of mind so i went to the LFS...

Theres no salt in it whatsoever, since i just set it up i wanted to make sure there was no leaks before i added salt, to keep potential mess down;).
so, can i just add the salt slowly to the sump or should i dissolve it in ro making a sw solution and then add it? :confused:
Yeah, i guess more info always helps lol, its a 65 gal with a 20 gal sump...it was setup saturday and i put in 80lbs of dry reef grade sand and...
right? thats what i thought, but eventually wouldnt that dry rock become saturated rock and would that cause the water level to drop....i am certain...
so ive setup my tank now but i have some concerns, first the water level in my sump keeps going down fairly fast, is this attributed to the dry rock...
