    I think that's a good idea! Also, the bulbs in the fixture now are Giesemann. I need to replace them. Is there anything comparable or similar?

    Well the T5 is a decent setup, its a Current Nova Extreme. I like it. I feel a bit safer with the T5's too.

    The seller on ebay refuses to refund and said I caused it from water hitting the bulbs or ballast! Nothing ever splashed..and that would not do it...

    I just bought a pair of new coralvue 14k bulbs. To me they look much bluer then expected. Do they 'whiten' after a few days or should I expect them...

    I used to take it out of the sump and put it in the display when I would go away on vacation for a couple days. I guess I could do that.
