    Sometimes crazy micro bubbles.... sometime none

    I'll have to research offgassing. Does it have anything to do with lighting. I noticed it happens more once the lights have been on for a few hours.

    Hmm. I'm not sure that's it.. I fed around 10am and noticed about an hour or two ago. I am not seeing excessive micro bubble in the sump at all.

    I can't figure this out.. it happens a lot. I could have hours and hours of no micro bubbles coming into the tank and the water is crystal clear....

    woops bad link. here it is, I think for what I'm doing - soft coral and more for the shimmer and look I should be fine and at a great price...

    I was thinking of turning them off at night to create more calm water, but I am worried that when the timer comes back on there could be a clownfish...

    Thanks guys.. I keep looking at LED as well but I know they don't give that same POP as MH bulbs do but LEDs do look nice too
