    yeah i was planning on putting the sand after the rock for that reason, prob gonna take out the egg crate, for my sand burrowers and beneficial perks...

    update: Im gonna tear everything down:cry: remove the egg crate, add my sand, and rebuild. I will post pics as soon as i am done with that step.

    really? I am going to be using sand. I was using the egg crate to protect the glass. But I guess its not really needed and would be more beneficial...

    ASM Baby G Skimmer....

    Anyone have the ASM baby g skimmer? If so, or even if u dont, I wanted to know how many inches do I need to submerge it in my sump for it to work...

    Sorry not sure exactly what a low base board heater is, but its the kind that I have to light the pilot on the bottom and the radiant heat comes out...
