My tank is 55 gal 36 x 24 x 18. My lights are all in one fixture, which fits perfectly over the tank. I have no feet for the fixture, so right now...
Is it recommended to suspend my lights above my tank or is it ok to place lights right on the tank? If I suspend them, will it affect growth or reef...
Whats a good heater to buy? Dont know if I "need" a digital thermostat or not, but I was thinking of getting one so my temp will stay more stable...

I was gonna get pukani for $2.99 lb, but i found some florida rock for $1.93 lb. Which is better and why? Should I just stick with pukani?

So I used the sand bed calculator suggested by phillip and it suggests aa minimum of 120 lbs for a 4" dsb.....gues that answers that question.
