    i agree on this...coz 2 or 3 plankton produvts i have used doesnt say anything about switching off the skimmers. I had opened another thread...

    True in a sense because i have some tubing from the airpump underneath the crushed corals...Maybe this air could be troubling it or like you said...

    Well this part is also true in a sense...But the damage to the motor would be minimal if we just switch it on and off once or twice in a day..I think...

    ^exactly mate The middle is swollen...Its not the angle...the center part that you see is not its arms but the junction area and it has swollen up

    +1 I have had same issues earlier with my anubias and i got rid of them just by introducing 2 SAEs and the Beard algae is Bye-Bye

    I just noticed while adding phytoplankton to the tank that the Hang-on protein skimmer is actually pulling out PP and the upper bottle had green...

    You may keep upto 2 or 3 discus in your tank. I would prefer going for a 3 unless they are a mated pair, else either of them would turn aggressive...
