    You're much better off with 4 or even 5 250w metal halides, most people with 4 ft tanks (90g-75g's) have 4 250 metal halides so you are far....

    2 is an overkill for that application,, i would say only one is fair, but i wouldn't keep it at less than 24'' high for SPS/clams/nems,, 36'' high...
