    Extra filters, would it do any harm?

    try using a 200 micron filter pad on your drip try in wet/dry and rinsing it with tank water every 3-4 days works for me.

    how many tangs in a 150 gallon???

    If i were you i would stick with 3-4 taking into consideration of adult size then factor in your amount of LR in tank they need plenty of swimming...
