Those zoas are amazing! Beautiful coloration on them! Birdsnest looks good too.
The aquascape looks great! Plenty of nooks and crannys for your fish to hide in. I really like those green Zoas, I think they are called Nuclear...
Not a problem, its an easy mistake to make. Tangs can be really slow to grow!
As JJK said, they should do ok in the top of the tank. I would say just leave them there, observe them, keep your parameters in top notch and see...
