    The 'shrimp' are copepods. Beneficial/harmless - they feed on green algae. The hermits dissapear for long times - if alive they will re-appear....

    What is that?

    Hard to tell from your photo. Does it look like this? If it does, and casts a 'net' and sucks it in, it's a Vermetid worm. Harmless and lots of fun...
