    Mandrin seems fine I have a sump with lots of pods I see some in the tank so I guess there is plenty of food for him he seems happy not very fat...

    Confused about drilled vs. overflow, etc.

    My advice for a 46 gal go big on the bulkhead diameter you want to use at least 1 inch pipe. Remember the water coming up is under presure and moves...

    I had a rotozip I made a guide cut 2/3 deep into the acrylic. Then I just used a heat gun and bent it to a perfect 90... I did the same on my sump...

    Yeah I sure did I did a fresh water test worked great and quiet too. My pump appeared to be moving about 300gph to 400gph I think that will be good...
