Interesting because I'm 3-4in with no problems.
I bought a 125gal that wasn't drilled and now it is. If you buy the 100gal get it drilled or go with the 90. IMO
What kind of sw plants are we talking about. My concern would be mostly fish, inverts & corals.
True, it usually takes a skimmer 24hrs and some adjustment to work properly once it's been stopped.
So higher is OK?
I have 2 wrasses (for almost a year) and an open tank and no jumpers
Will be an interesting test. I've had some of the same thoughts. Keep us posted?
What is the optimum and max DKH. My DKH is at 15 and I was told 12 is the max. If it is too high is there anyway to bring it down besides water...

Sorry, don't want to hijack this threat but I have a mandarin which is doing very well in my 125gal. How do you keep the copods growing?
Wow, 200LBS. Will be interesting to see how long it takes to cycle...keep us posted.
Welcome, Best of Luck. I'm not too sure about using the uncured rock approach to cycling but good luck.
Personally, I wouldn't use carbon or skimmer during cycling as it will take out some of the good stuff along with the bad and slow things down. Looks...
Sounds like you're doing the right things...just don't over medicate. All the best and good luck!!
