ya the kit comes with 40 or 60 degree optics and I chose the 60 degrees.

you should try to find a square heat sink for a cube so it gives it a more even spread of light. thats just what I would do
for 24 leds your going to want to space them out more than what a 6x9 heat sink can hold look at heatsinkusa.com they have alot more choices.
