    No it screws on. With greased gaskets on the inside and outside for a water seal. I am sure someone could make one out of thick acrylic.

    I can hear my mag 9.5 over the overflow, and that is with it in the base with the door closed. Only time I hear the overflow is when I am on a step...

    I have the 180 and it pulls out coffee great! With the 38g sump it fits nice and I still have room for a great return section and fuge.

    Do you mean how do I get the sump in and out? If so I made the front and rear center bar to come out. I use a metal L bracket on the inside....
