WPG really doesn't matter when it comes to MH... you can have a 70w MH and put it in a 300g tank you can put an SPS near the surface and it'll grow...
this whole T5's run cooler and MH's run so hot is a myth, any similarly rated bulb produces the SAME amount of heat... a 150w MH produces the same...
