    1 would be plenty. I'd go with a 250w. 400w would be too much, and heat the tank a lot. Hang it high enough that the light covers the entire tank....

    cheapest place to buy filter socks

    I also would recommend mesh over felt. They last longer, are easier to clean, and don't clog up like felt do.

    some LPS. Definitely fine for softies/leathers though. I wouldn't try any SPS with that fixture. Go T5 or MH for SPS.
