    Are you getting young ones? If you are its best to have them alone in a bare bottom tank until they get to 4" as before this they stunt so easily....

    Fake Sand or Live Sand???

    The argment is, the bacteria in live sand is in spore form so doesn't need O2 to survive in the bag. Still i wouldn't bother if you are getting live...

    Well Microbubbles have been known to annoy corals and can stick to your fish, so its best to keep them down. Can you not just leave the filter...

    Base Rock Questions

    Do you have live rock in the tank at the moment? Because the base rock will only turn live if you have LR to seed it.

    It depends, Fish only tanks arnt much more expensive than freshwater, its when you get into live rock and coral it gets expensive.

    eBay Protein Skimmer

    In the pic the skimmer is running on a FW tank I think, and the bubbles will be low anyway as its not saltwater. Don't be so fast to chuck cheap...
