im sorry what kind of anemone do you have again? was it a long tenticle anemone (corkscrew anemone)?
moonlights do help. you can get small ones. they are LED lights so it doesnt suck up your electricity bill. anemones all need lots of light to do...
why within 4 hours?
they are very touchy animals. they stress easily. when i got my first BTA i being real fussy with him but i realized he does better on his own then...
my turbo snails occationally go on the sand but its really only to get from the rock to the glass. i need a shrimp to help out with the sand i think...
im also assuming LTA is long tenticle anemone?
leave him. dont move him. if he needs the light he knows where to find it! biggest mistake with people who are new to the anemone keeping is to keep...
ohhh...and i was so excited to see a pic too
cant you give him to your lfs?
oh wow! i never knew that. it seems sand is very touchy...good to know thanks. yah does anyone else have any input?
when i first set up my tank i had the white stuff on my tank too (coralline) since then its changed to brownish
i forgot to mention i am getting live sand with this order too. its free live sand not sure how much im getting but should i place it in the tote too?
thats how i use to feed my anemone. when i get another one i will be doing the same again. i find it works well too.
good to know thanks everyone. i will let you all know how it goes. not to mention gotta love that RO! loads of info that i needed
it wont do anything once i introduce it into the display tank if i have it a higher salinity will it? good idea
oh and the heater wont burn the rubbermaid tote?
gotta love that rotting smell! :-X how long should i let it cure for? ive been told 3 weeks or so
