    I wouldn't recomend that technique for stuff like flame scallops or other sensitive shells, but with tridacna most often Squamosa they can handle it...

    Where to get big clams...

    Ive found that clams in the 4"-9" range are the easiest to sell. If they are bigger its harder cause most ppls tanks cant support one of that size.
