    yeah i meant to lower the flow from sump to DT. hehe..let me test it out and see if it stays the same level. Why didn't I think of it, der!

    i do have ball valves on both of my return lines. I will close it a little on both to see how they come out. Thanks for the suggestions.

    yeah, i think the pump is a little over power as well. It's pretty random when the water level goes up/down.

    actually, i have noticed that my skimmer does it too. Sometimes, the foam won't even go near the top, but w/ the same setting, i see tons of water...
