    Yea I was reading some old literature from 1997 that talked about smaller bed reactors ran off a power head with silica sand inside.

    Lol it's sleeping often times in fresh and salt water when fish sleep they rest on the bottom and colors fade a little.

    So in summery actinic lights can benefit certain corals but day bulbs over 10k will reduce the need to run actinic lights? Just a reminder this tank...
