dissolved nutrients, could come from over feeding, decaying matter, or the stuff u feed your corals, atleast if u over feed them. skimmer usually...

its virtually impossible to scrape it off, i have to scrape off the coralline algae to get that brown stuff off

red slime(cynobacteria) and hair algae, phosphates and dissolved nutrients are culprits
what type i mean? diatoms? red slime? my water quality is pristine
it bloomed and is not leaving
