I think it would be fine, just modify your stocking to accomodate a larger fish and you should be fine. Most Kole tangs only get 5in while some will...
get the goby, the yellow tang needs a 90g tank at the least and gets 8-10inches.

I was also favoring the second, i tried the two island idea but the rock just wasnt working with me haha... any tips on how to transfer the rock into...
here are my two scapes, both are about 42-45in long by 13in wide by 14in tall. The tank is 48x15x18in and roughly 60g. this is 70lbs of rock Here...

So should I just let my base rock become live on its own? Would a scraping of coralline or purple up help?
