yes! They do expire! Especially the test for pH/nitrite/nitrate. The chemical compounds used for them get oxidized by the oxygen from air. Every time...

It has been found by chance. WE do not have ID for it. It prefers low light conditions and loves fresh brine shrimp. There are already 5 small specimens found on our LR.
