    yes i am topping off with fresh RO/DI water. Why should i not cover the tank? It seems if i could prevent evaporation, i would not have to top off...

    my toadstool just moved off the LR it came on, onto a huge chunk of rock. Then i just removed the chunk of LR it came on, just give it time to attach

    What are your techniques on mixing salt?

    i just heat up my water, throw the salt in stir it vigorously a couple times, let it clear up and then pour it in. I pour it in very slowly as well...
