    For regular PVC pipe I would go to Home Depot, it is thicker than what Lowes carries. I do know Lowes carries flexible PVC, but it's hit or miss....

    I hear ya. You can use vinyl tubing, but I would use black to prevent algae growth. I used SPA flex aka flexible PVC, but you can not use regular PVC...

    You're always going to have bubbles going into your sump. It's mixing water and air that then splashes into your sump. If that doesn't create bubbles...
