they are totally dry now after 2 years? I would say yes it is dead! But still use the rock, it will eventually become "live" again it will just take...
Just a simple example of dilution: if you have 1 oz of straight vodka and you think it is too strong you add something too so its not so strong it...
the ratio can vary but usually 4:1 or 3:1 if i remember correctly.
