    I run a 250w on a light mover for 10hours a day. does just fine for acros and lps the same. Honestly I think I could do a 150 or a 175 on the light...

    I run a 48x30x12 now. it is excellent. Top down is so cool! I recommend it. Only downfall is that rockscaping is hard. I mostly just attach corals...

    Mag 3 lol My geo reactor came with an ehiem which also works well. I would stick with one of those two brands though.

    I believe it... he has the nicest stuff too. Vendor fees are so expensive so he has to keep his prices a bit higher just to recoup the cost :-/

    well that would explain it then. the low flow is allowing it to build up... I am not sure what a good fix for the second chamber would be though? not...

    Sometimes city water has chlorine added. this will make your resin go faster. Does you water smell or taste chlorine-ey

    I think that recirc pump is too small. maybe try a mag2 or mag3. Now we are talking about the re-circulation pump and not the feed pump correct?

    maybe two 260's if you have some dead spots... Or just save up and get a vortech mp10. This is all I use anymore because they are such small profile...

    something is wrong here. If all your seals are tight and your tds meter is accurate then I am going to say to consider a different type of DI resin....

    I dont usually have that problem. is your intake at an area that has a lot of junk near it? or is the recirculating pump on your reactor very small?

    I drill with a masonry bit and then put either acrylic tube or pex pipe in the middle. works well for me.

    Yes mag up first. Your ca will likely not change much while your adding it. When your done with your mg divide that by 3.1 to get what your ca should...
