    +1 Sostoudt they do tend to over rate skimmers, That is where the up sizing comes from.

    Recommended skimmer for 53g

    I havent use the ASM skimmer dont know about it. I just got the Esshops skimmer and had it going on about a month. It had no defects and works great.

    How many powerheads for 53g

    I am under the impression the the return pump shouldnt be counted on as flow. I read somewhere that this is how people mess up.
