very nice tank
i think you do that to get rid of hitch-hikers and also to kind of bleach it i guess, but i have no experience so im not exactly sure
whoa those polyps are epic!
well now im thinking this: you DO NOT need LR in a freshwater tank; all you have is gravel and the filter where the bacteria is. same principles...
So i added a powerhead and its just bringing in some water flow. its 250 gph and since my maroon is so small it's adjusting to the flow.
maybe add a YWG?
looking good; cant wait to see the finished product!
ok maybe not a FTS yet but judging from the pics the tank looks great!
wow you're lucky XD
so i shut it off for now XD mainly because i need sand and food to fall; i gots my hermit there to take care of that
LOL full tank shot!!!
cool
Fts!!!!
alright. i plan on getting some coral in a few months so i dont want the powerhead's flow to be too much. right now the powerhead is on the left side...
still got that muffin and keg of Rolling Rock lol but wow your tank is amazing. what fish r in there?
so lets say i get a firefish; wont the powerhead just blow him away?
welcome to 3reef; tank seems to be coming along pretty well
well remember the tank's pretty small so i have it on a side and my maroon clownfish in near the top so the powerhead is giving him some trouble
So i put in a powerhead for my 10 gallon and it has 250 gph. i cant really find a good place to place it; any suggestions? right now its on the right...
agreed. get an ro/di unit from spectrapure; there very good IMO
