That's to be expected. You're seeing the cycle happen right before your eyes. You're almost there.
Today I installed a window fan hoping it will help with tank temp as I used to open and close the fish room door and window to keep in check.
We're not here to "let you have it". Just giving advice. Patience is about the best advice I can give at your certain stage of your tank.

I've seen swings from 77-83F lately with the large temp differential day to day....ugh Ohio. My house temp has been in flux as well.
