How did you calibrate it? You might just be lucky, mine was off by 10 ppt.
The boards are set to ship on the 6th, we have the heatsink/support assembled. This fixture will cover a 36" sps heavy tank, no problem. We will test...
Where did you get that eggcrate? It is so colorful! LOL looking good!
You dont need to cure it, just powerwash and soak it
A little teaser for you guys: [IMG]
Crees are more efficient than bridgelux, 2 crees is about equal to 3 bridgelux.
Wattage rules do not apply to LEDs. You will want about 48-80 cree LEDs, or 55-110 bridgelux LEDs, depending on how much sps you have.
Ca and ALK. I love both of them. RODI water will do just fine, provided you have city water that is. Also, they will send you water with no Ca in it...
Well, they couldn't dim halides or t5s. Dim it, and your corals will be just fine. Believe me, I've done it a dozen times
If course

Needs a little blue :)

Try it, however they may never get used to it.
Do what I did, and buy a $99 5k BTU window ac unit. My tank temp never goes higher than my controller allows (81.1 degrees)
Looks like it was a cichlid tank, or maybe an FO. Defenitely set it up SW.
They do that to in my tank also. I try not to have the actinicts on too much, it might stress them.
Wow, that blew my mind. I want to visit it badly now.
LOL! Why catch the fish yourself?
