So I don't need a pump that will do 700gph to match my overflow? Or do I need to do something to slow that down? I am using a 20g long for my sump.....

It'd be easier to just turn the 2x4 and lay it across it though right? And just attach the cross joints below or not use them at all
Should I reinforce the inside between the cross joints?
I plan on putting plywood over it and the way it's coming together the tank will set on the plywood and it's corners are almost completely on the 4x4...
