Agreed :) At first it might seem really cool, but in the long run you would not be happy because you would not be able to add certain orginisms

I agree that all of the organisms probably die then new ones appear anyway, but I still think it speeds the cycling up. That is just IME though....
Why should he stay away from live sand? IME it really helps the cycle process :-/

You could also try a trio of anthias (might be a little overstocked though...unless you loose the blue tang) Anthias can also be difficult to feed,...
I would not go with crushed coral- It can be even harder to clean I would replace the sand and go with live sand. Live sand has a lot of beneficial...
This happens very often with new fish. It could take up to 2 weeks for a fish to fully acclimate. Sometimes it just takes time. Good Luck! :) JJL

That is very true, but I think the main reason the place I went to was so pricey was because of the large staff, and large amount of aquariums.

Definately too big for your tank..... Just take the advice please NO FISH IN THAT TANK GET A BIGGER TANK OR ONLY KEEP CORAL...THAT WILL STILL BE...
