I don't know what my good to bad water ratio is. Does the pressure and the water ratio go hand and hand?
This is not the issue. The issue is my pressure into the unit is 20 psi. I need to boost it too 60 psi to make the unit run efficiently. See attached...

Given you live in Canada, that does indeed change some things. If you like the unit and the fish store uses it, I say why not, get it.
