Put as few elbows in the return line as possible, use the largest size line as the pump will handle.
That will be perfect. Change the bulbs one week apart to allow your corals time to acclimate to the increased PAR levels.
Also provides redundancy for one pump dying.

You will need 2 T5HO bulbs for your starter corals, but will want to have 4 bulbs to keep any corals you want. I suggest looking into retrofit kits...
As long as the overflow drainage rate is higher than the return pump rate at head then you will be OK. You will need to have at least 4 ft of head...
