thats sweeet! good idea, looks factory too. is that seamless? lol got to get a video and a picture of it over the tank. what bulbs you got there?...
here's a 7"x4" rock of zoas I got from petco the other day! lol again they look bad due to diatoms and lack of actinics.. [img]
Well I got a few frags today that I traded for.. check em out.. the blue tip staghorn looks bad because that tank doesnt have any actinics/blue light...
great lighting, caught my eye right away!
I definitly like the forum layouts and user controls more on this site, than the other.
I would get a 175w mogul type mh bulb/ballast. that will give you good coverage and par. since your tank is also shallow. 150/175W HL Metal Halide...
x2 on that.
Retrofit kit will be your cheapest way. either build a canopy or pendant. you could do a 150w,175w,or 250w. if not deep then 150/175 would work....
Ati blue aquablue fiji purple ati blue
I did it for a couple months when my nitrates were 80-100, then added mangroves/chaeto and quit. havent seen nitrate above 10-15 since.
is there a problem?
no way!
put another shrimp in. and wait another week. your nitrites and ammonia will raise.
Also if yuor ballasts arent over 3yrs old, you should be covered under hellolights warranty.
