I would not do a leopard wrasse in a 34. It's simply too small to support one long term. It might work for a while, but I'm willing to bet it won't...
Wrasses are jumpers. A 3/8" wrasse will fit through a single 3/8" hole (and most importantly, will eventually find said hole).
