+1 to this, LEDs tend to be a lot stronger from what i've read and you may not necessarily be able to tell just simply by the naked eye...

Right is green left is more a pinkish tip but looks more purple as its not opening up as much as the other two yet and the middle is indeed a mix....
eh, i suppose if i didn't have that massive(in comparison to the hammer) pink tipped frogspawn right next to it then i would be of the same opinion....

as for the heatsink, planning on using c channel from HD. End up with 4 rows of LEDs with fans to help with the airflow... and cpu grad thermal...
