this is true, BIG tank = BIG buck$. 135g tank by no means is a average size tank to me. plus the cost of filling it with corals/fish & 150+lbs...

same boat I was in.. still get it down though most corals will be happier under 11..also with high dkh it was hard for me to get calcium above 380....
I put a whole 2 liter in my 55g my dkh didnt drop any was still at 15dkh.. maybe I need another bottle..

Ive done the seltzer trick didnt work for me.. you need water changes with ro/di water from a home unit or local fish store.. I'd do a 25-50%...
