I haven't decided yet. I think the born on date will be whenever I get around to initiating the cycle.
Thanks! I'm hoping our SPS in there will be happier :P
Some actinic shots. This time I actually bothered cleaning the glass, too. [IMG] [IMG]
Leak? A leak was the least of my worries. I'm just happy the stand didn't shatter when the tank got full ;) Nah, I leak tested the tank a while ago...
Huh? WHEN? WHERE?!?!?!
Looks great! Keep a very, very careful eye on that arrow crab ;)
Looking great dude!
Does it have to be a fish? ;) Nassarius snails will do an awesome job in the sand and I am pretty sure won't jump ;)
Not under the lights after the dust settles! 8) [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
Sure, but by dosing.
Um, I am not really sure what there is to explain? Not doing water changes means I will not be taking out the water and replacing it at regular...
I would leave it in the bag. It will be fine for four and a half hours. Heck, they are in bags for 24-48 hours when they get shipped around...
Looks like a Nudi of some sorts. Being that there are so many kinds that are bad, I would pull them just to be safe.
For a lot of it, same person you got yours from I would imagine ;) I will have to see how it goes. I am planning on trying out the "no water...
Most, if not all (to my knowledge) will be false perc's
Salinity should be that of the DT. Why stress the fish even more by treating it for something it might not even have in the first place?
True and false percula's are two different species of clownfish, it has nothing to do with whether they are captive bred or not. And yes, ocellaris...
Hey, the only dumb question is the one not asked! Don't raise it too quickly, as it's not real dangerous, but I would aim for a .023-.025 salinity...
Is this a reef or fish only? Normal range would be 1.023-1.027. Some go higher. I wouldn't go any lower than 1.023.
Yes, you have to use either pure RO water or a calibrating fluid to calibrate a refractometer. But, if your salinity is .021, I would start doing...
