+1, and how old is the tank? I suggest you do a TON of research before deciding on getting one. They can be very tricky to keep.

Moonlights do hold a purpose. It can help with the spawning of certain corals and fish. For the bulbs, I would recommend 2X UVL 420nm's and 2X UVL...

+500 What do they consider "better"? UVL's will give you much better PAR values. It will be slightly bluer than your original combo
Did you buy the tank, and all of the equipment, brand new? There are many ways copper can enter the system ;) Also, do you have a grounding probe?...
