A year has come and gone and the new model is out. How is this one holding up? Pics?
I must be blind.:-/
I made a temporary pvc stand over my 20. Check out the group buy thread.
Hard to tell from the picture, but I would just let things be for awhile. No sense in rushing things, even though it's difficult not to.
Cyano? Do you have a picture? Do you have a phosphate test and are you using tap or RO/DI water?
That's too bad. Good luck, hope he comes out easily.
Same. In fact, I mush prefer that. Plus, I like supporting small businesses and tank raised coral.
I had a clown refuse to eat and we (3 reef) decided that he had an internal parasite and died. I don't know it that is the case with yours, but it is...
Thanks for the heads up. I'll be using them when I set up the 55.
I hate losing fish, so I know how you must feel. Let us know about the ammonia. If it is detectable, test it again tomorrow morning and see if it...
Sounds like a distant project then. I'd give my opinion, but I have never owned any of the fish you mentioned. Bump for others.
He might take a stab at the fish. I had one eat a damsel, clown and a cleaner shrimp (they were already dead/were motionless and dying).
I would just observe your ammonia over the next few days. If it begins to elevate, then I would remove it. You might have enough water volume to...
Just clean the back of the tank then. Snails are a must, imo. Your tank will look worse without them.
Sounds like it's time for an upgrade then.;)
What's your ammonia at now and how long has it been dead?
A flasher wrasse and a leopard wrasse, 3 bartlett anthias and a tomini tang.:cheesy:
My opinion, not enough. You would need 60 or 80 degree optics on the bulbs.
They claim that it's reef safe. Who really knows.
Lol It's probably the best option we have at getting the proper spectrum with LED, if you have the money of course.
