A clip-on work light/reflector and a 6500k spiral fluorescent bulb is really all you need for fuge lighting. I think it is about $10 total.
They are cute. :) The black ones...don't looks so pretty. They kind of look like a "cat-tail" when it gets wet - gross. lol. I think they must also...
This is pretty sweet. :) You named your "sun coral-eating nudis"? lol.
The prices I have found have only been in the UK. It was about 450 pounds for the 4x54w fixtuers.
...not that isn't safe...just as far as quality....I didn't see what brand the light was(stupid me? Lol).
That is one giant skimmer. Subscribed.
...Matt are these ato units available yet?
Captive Bred(not tank raised)
Its ebay but that is still a steal for the 4x 24W.
If youbare willing to drill the glass yourself...look up the bean animal overflow. It is a very popular overflow design - used in many tanks of all...
Along with what 2in10 said...guess and check? That's what I would do. Haha. If the screw just pushes through...well you didn't hit a stud. Lol.
...my eyes are out and open. Can we get some updated pictures? :)
Thanks! It has been a long time since I updated my thread(s). I have a 7g build going...but like this build, it is going...r-e-a-l-l-y s-l-o-w-l-y....
I can't remember if you have a light fixture for the tank yet? BUt I know the Mu-153 LED fixture uses 40nm(UV) in it. I think you can play around...
I saw your thread and decided to check My tank...89.8 degrees! Luckily I only have a few dwarf hermits in there for livestock. :-/ Edit: that is...
For aesthetics as well as functionality I would definitely drill the tank. Maybe a semi coast to coast internal bean animal overflow?
TThe wight of the sand in the 55g could easily disturb the glass crack that, at be ok...for now. I see that as being a huge potential problem. You do...
I forget, are these dimmable leds?
I was just about to ask! :D
I also noticed an error in the Coralvue fixture description. The fixture clearly shows 6 T5 bulbs.
