    my tank had to be "retrofied" to fit in my tiny bedroom so i gave my desk and used it as a stand and the fuge is on a shelf perpendicular to the dt...

    if your wondering i have a 55gal dt and im adding a 10gal fuge next to it using black flexable tubing (black so algea wont grow in it )

    Cleaner shrimp lays dead

    yeah from what i found they should have 6 or more... but the deepest sand bed at the lfs is only about an inch and they have the sand sifters in...

    as far as i know they are not poisonous ... apparently they are very hard to keep alive but mines doing well (7/8 died in shipping frm the wholesaler...

    quick summary : lfs guy says he got a reef snake in and they never live and the need dsb. my tank has about 3in sand bed. so he says i can have it...

    ive had 3 fish die on me so far in 8 months i only ever saw 1 body...between cuc and other fish they can b taken care of quite quickly
