    KC If you have an old HOB filter you can pull the pads out and run chaeto in it instead of a filter and it will do the same thing.

    Texas Holey Rock sold as Live Base Rock at LFS in Minnesota

    I would say to wash it off and let it sit outside and let the sun dry it out. do this a couple of times and it should be ok to use.

    No the level on the right hand side of the sump will change. try syphoning some water out down to the line that is marked on your sump

    wash on normal/heavy soil. ex small for load size. they get pretty dirty so I try to get them as clean as possible. They are pretty much completly...
