    It couldn't hurt at all to slowly get your tank back to the proper temperature, in fact I would make that the top priority over separating the fish....

    Micro bubbles won't hurt your tank, they just can be annoying to look at ;) I agree that you should keep it running 24/7 to see if that will help...
