    could just be a fouled plug then... Didn't you say the filter got gas on it? Make sure it's good and dry or just remove it before you try to start...

    I'm thinking the nutrients were there before you added the lights... with all the extra light, the algae took off... lower your nutrients and work on...

    I would think that HIGH heat could damage the membrane, but cold water normally slows RO production... I believe a water temp of 75-80 degrees would...
