Does your Tang eat caulerpa? I didn't think anything would eat it but some strange nudibranch.
What did you use to condition the tap water?
If you've been using RO water and after 2 water changes your Tang gets ick there's is reason to at least suspect something is in the water making him...
You could put a blanket around the glass.
I would switch back to RO/DI water if I were you. I would also watch out taking advice from someone that says it isn't much difference. Tap water...
Awesome. My clowns gave birth this week too.
How big is it? Have you seen it in person? Sounds like an Ok deal for a small one but it doesn't look like it has the best color.
Caulerpa grows fast but is illegal in some areas.... it's dangerous that it can get released into the ocean. It overgrows everything. Also it can get...

Cool. I don't like pink/purple on my glass either. And black is drab so GSP will be interesting at least. I went for the blue look. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
I'm using Rowaphos but when that runs out I'll switch to BRF. I used Phosban in the past.. can't really tell any difference except price.
I have one of those reactors.. Only thing is it's much smaller than the Two little fishies. It does the job though. Rowaphos has a good reputation...
Some nice corals there.

Even after the cycle is complete some creatures just don't seem to like a new tank. 6 weeks is not very long at all. Is this your first tank? But...
